Palm Sunday

Jerusalem is historic. But only religiously historic. Some 3 billion or so of people are monotheistically religious, so Jerusulam is only a Holy City for half the worlds population, and a handful of Chinese that just like to tour.  Lucky for me, Passover and Holy Week happen while I'm here.  So on Sunday we started off the week with a palm sunday walk.  And before you go crying that I'm not in Sunday attire, just remember Sabbath is Saturday in Israel.  It could be the whole week for all I'm concerned, cause what better thing to do on a Sabbath than walk in Christ's footsteps.

We started our day off at Dormition Abbey. It is a church by one of the places that commemorates The Last Supper

Whats up for the rest of the week?  Yesterday we went to Gethsamane, today we're doing the Via Dolorosa (commemorating Jesus carrying his cross outside the city), finishing with The Garden Tomb Sunday morning.  Definitely better than Christmas!
