Today was one of those days. You know when you need a man date. So I had 3. With the studliest men in Jerusalem. We kind of all have a bromance together. Except John. He's going on a mission, so he's trying to stay out of relationships.
We went up to the open air market and, you know, bought some stuff. Like chocolate. And gum. Sometimes you just need a break from things. Do you ever wonder that you've set your goals too high and that they seem unattainable? Probably not, cause only spcial people worry about things like that. Like changing the status quo. Changing the status quo for a group of people purposefully is never self beneficial. Its unseen social pressures that change cultures drastically. Take the Israelites for example. There was a few specially chosen people and a handful of Egyptians that changed their environment. I don't know why I really want to be a specially chosen person that changes how a culture thinks and behaves, but I guess that's one of those intrinsic things. Kinda like why some people want to talk all the time and why others have to sketch during our Palestine Class.
So the only reason I threw photos on this page is cause 1) they are cool and 2) people never read blogs anyway. , And it makes writing more interesting. Back to the issue at hand, I often am befuddled at why I feel like I'm not getting anywhere with how I want to change a certain global status quo. I mean, it should take me a little less than 40 years to get from where I am now to starting some schools. Its only like going from Egypt to Israel, which is a few hour drive. But why not stretch it out? I mean, if no one has ever been there before, I guess you get lost alot right?
Since I don't really know where I'm going, I think I'll take it back to square one
